Women Empowerment and Right Entitlements

Overview

Our women empowerment program adopts a multi-pronged approach addressing economic independence, social security, and protection from gender-based violence and exploitation.

Key Interventions

• Encouraged political participation of 1,765 women in local governance
• Prevented 13 cases of early marriage, dowry, and trafficking
• Provided care and support for 9 elderly persons and 1,006 unorganized laborers
• Promoted 986 women SHG members through micro-enterprise support (RMK)
• Skilled 198 youth (girls) for value addition and employment
• Capacitated members for Safer Child Network and child marriage prevention

• Significant increase in women's participation in Gram Sabha and Panchayat meetings
